Mockly Studio
Privacy Policy
Last updated: June 15, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how Mockly Studio (“we”, “us”), operated by Mockly, collects, uses, and protects information when you use the Service.
Information we collect
- Account information — your name and email, provided when an account is created for you.
- TikTok connection data — when you connect a TikTok account, we receive and store OAuth access and refresh tokens, a TikTok user identifier (open id), and granted scopes, plus the basic creator profile (nickname, username, avatar) returned by TikTok’s API so we can show your posting options.
- Content — the videos, captions, and related media you create or upload in the Service.
- Usage and log data — basic technical logs needed to operate and secure the Service.
How we use information
- To operate the Service and authenticate you.
- To create, schedule, and publish videos to the accounts you connect.
- To secure the Service and diagnose problems.
How we use TikTok data
We access TikTok only through its official APIs (Login Kit and the Content Posting API). We use the access you grant solely to: retrieve your account’s current posting settings (allowed privacy levels and interaction settings) to build the post screen, and publish the videos and captions you explicitly choose. We store your TikTok tokens encrypted and refresh them in the background so scheduled posts can be sent. We do not sell TikTok data, do not use it for advertising or profiling, and do not share it with third parties except as needed to operate these features. Our use of TikTok data complies with the TikTok Developer Terms and policies.
Storage and security
Data is stored in a Postgres database and in object storage (Cloudflare R2). Secrets, including TikTok tokens and provider API keys, are encrypted at rest. Access is restricted to authorized operators.
Third-party processors
We rely on service providers to deliver the Service, including TikTok (publishing), Cloudflare R2 (media storage), and AI/media providers used to generate content. Each processes data only as needed to provide their function.
Data retention and your choices
- You can disconnect your TikTok account at any time in Settings, which deletes the stored tokens; you can also revoke access from your TikTok account settings.
- You may request access to or deletion of your personal data by contacting us.
- We retain data only as long as needed to provide the Service or as required by law.
Changes
We may update this Policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by the “Last updated” date above.
